Dr. Hutter is a General and Gastrointestinal surgeon, who specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including the stomach, small bowel, gallbladder and hernias. He also specializes in bariatric surgery and is the Director of the MGH Weight Center.
Dr. Hutter grew up in Needham, MA, and went to Harvard University and Harvard Medical School, and then completed General Surgery Residency at Mass. General Hospital. He was The Chief Resident in Surgery, and completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been on the surgical staff since 2002.
